Meet Jen Johnston

Registered Nurse | Psychedelic Pharmacologist

Jennifer Johnston is an integral part of Heart of Earth & Sky Entheogenic Sanctuary. With over 15 years of experience as a Registered Nurse, she has helped many, through the use of plant medicines,  to improve mental and physical health.  Jen is an advocate for the therapeutic benefits of entheogens in the health and wellness field.  She has spent much of her nursing career as an oncology nurse helping patients navigate their cancer journey. She’s helped patients and family members who have struggled with anxiety and depression for many years. Throughout her journey, Jen has witnessed the magic and love of plant medicines to help many heal. 

Jen is skilled in helping people who take medications safely enter the world of psychedelics.  Sometimes this involves creating a protocol to wean off of certain medications to explore the therapeutic benefits of micro dosing or macro journey’s.  

She loves spending as much time as possible exploring and connecting with nature, spending time with her beloved husband, kids and her highly energetic cattle dogs! Jenn is so excited to be a part of the Heart of Earth & Sky team to educate trainees in plant medicine safety, contraindications, pharmacology and more.
